Eating Worms

WALT: I am thinking about my purpose and reader by planning my recount.

Have you ever made worms before at school?  Well our reading class did it with Mrs Garden.

We got into a circle to have a turn each.  Next we put the dry worms into a bowl .Then we put the chicken flavoured in the bowl then we waited for the kettle to boil.Then Mrs Garden put the hot water in for us.

When the worms were all cooked Mrs Garden dropped them Into our mouths. Juice was on every face and clothes. It was so difficult to eat because it is getting dropped. y after one turn we had seconds.

Chicken worms are so delicious. I didn't know that you just need three ingredients.

Butter,Butter,Butter

WALT: write an introduction that orientates and hooks in the reader.

Do you know how to make home-made butter? Before well class 8 Literacy group made butter today with Mrs Garden. If you don’t know how to make butter you just get cream and a little bit of salt then you need to shake into it turns into nice and slimy butter.Yum! we made home-made butter. When i looked at it the butter was so soft. Then we put the nice butter on the beard.

Maybe next time we can make something to cook like cakes,cupcakes.
